The 2026 IESO Earth Science Olympiad Standard Competition is open to young people aged 3–18 across the globe. All competition questions strictly follow the official proposition standards and evaluation system of the International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO), focusing on core fields including geology, meteorology, oceanography and astronomy. Featuring high academic authority and scientific challenge, the competition assesses participants’ geoscientific literacy, logical thinking and inquiry capabilities, and builds an international-standard professional competitive platform for contestants. Through the professional graded competition system, participants will ignite their enthusiasm for exploration, establish systematic geoscientific thinking, and enable children of all age groups to verify their strengths, build confidence and integrate with the world under the IESO standards.
